MCC of the Palm Beaches: A Place of Many Ministers

Bill Meissner Food Pantry: A part of MCCPB since the 1980s in response to the AIDS epidemic, our pantry now serves over 1,500 people from all walks of life each month. The Pantry Team distributes grocery stapes and fresh produce every Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m. (closed on 5th Wednesdays).

Hospitality Team: This team creates a sense of community and strengthens connections between folks at MCCPB by providing food and drink after worship services and for various special and fun events throughout the year.

Positive Connections: Positive Connections is the HIV ministry of MCCPB, providing free HIV testing every Wednesday at the food pantry in partnership with FoundCare, practical support for people living with HIV/AIDS and advocacy against HIV stigma.

Social Justice: The Social Justice Team leads the MCCPB community in its efforts to work for economic justice for the poor, equality, peace and caring for our planet. The Team also works to educate the congregation about issues related to social justice.

Music Ministry: We love to praise God at MCCPB, especially through music! Join us in making a joyful noise through the Sanctuary Choir, the Fully Alive Ensemble or singing or playing an instrument as a soloist or in an ensemble.

Worship Leadership: At MCCPB we support the priesthood of all believers, which means that our worship services are led by both clergy and lay people. This team is made up of people who serve as ushers, communion servers and holders, readers and communion consecrators.

Marketing Team: Working to fearlessly promote the presence and values of MCCPB, the Marketing Team works to spread the word about our church in as many ways as possible, including social media, our website, south Florida LGBT media and LGBT community events.

Children's and Family Minsitry: This team provides Troy's Club (childcare) for children ages 0 to 5 during 11 a.m. Sunday worship services, as well as Children's Church, which features age-appropriate Bible lessons for children ages 6 to 10. This team also hosts specific events for families with young children throughout the year.

WINGS (Welcome IN God's Sanctuary): The WINGS Team takes pride in making sure every person (especially newcomers) receives a warm welcome to Sunday worship services at MCCPB. This team provides Sunday greeters, along with special gifts for first-time visitors.
